Open Solutions Inc. of Glastonbury, Conn., has agreed to provide check-image clearing services for Independent Bankers Bank of Marietta, Ga.
The $400-million asset bankers' bank will offer the services to its 250 bank customers in Georgia, Alabama, and Florida, Open Solutions said last week.
The vendor said it would perform the electronic clearing and archiving through its item processing center in Windsor Locks, Conn.
Diane Blangsted, the bankers' bank's senior vice president of operations and technology, said in the vendor's press release, "Our customers wanted the ability to exchange image cash letters, and Open Solutions had the most advanced product offering to compile and clear them in the most efficient way."
Open Solutions said it has a long-standing core processing relationship with the bank, which was founded in 1983.
