DENVER - Invesco Funds Group said its promotion of Thomas Colby to manager of institutional sales is part of its developing growth strategy.
Raymond Cunningham, senior vice president and national sales manager, said Mr. Colby, who was a regional wholesaler before his promotion last month, is developing a strategy to boost fund sales through banks. Invesco is also looking to add eight people to its sales force by yearend, which would increase the total to 30, Mr. Cunningham said. Since 1998 its assets under management have nearly tripled, to $50 billion.
