Online Resources Corp. has hired Robert R. Craig to manage its bill-payment unit, which expanded significantly when the Chantilly, Va., banking technology vendor acquired the bill-pay provider Princeton eCom Corp. in July.
Online Resources announced Tuesday that Mr. Craig had been named its executive vice president and general manager of e-commerce services. The unit has two main businesses: biller services (formerly the Princeton eCom operations) and card and credit services. The latter provides account presentation, payment, and marketing services to more than 2,200 billers, issuers, and creditors.
Mr. Craig was most recently the head of business development for First Data Corp.'s remittance processing business.
He also co-founded the remittance processor Remitco LLC, which First Data acquired in 2000.
