Northwest, which already uses Harland's Laser Pro lending software, plans to start using its Encore teller software and its Touche Analyzer CRM product, the Atlanta check printer and banking software vendor said last week.

All three products are offered through the vendor's Harland Financial Solutions.

Northwest's $6.5 billion-asset Northwest Savings Bank said that it selected the two Harland products because they work together to offer bank employees, especially tellers, better information about customers when they visit a branch.

"We saw real value in the integration of Encore branch automation with Touche Analyzer business intelligence and how it could help our organization," Steve Fisher, Northwest Savings Bank's senior vice president of operations, said in a Harland press release.

Northwest Bancorp has 153 branches in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Maryland, and Florida.
