In Brief: Six Schools to Use Sallie Mae Software

RESTON, Va. — Six colleges and universities have agreed to use Sallie Mae’s Net.Pay online bill presentment, payment, and student loan management software.

The University of Maryland at Baltimore, the University of Texas at Arlington, Asbury College, the Pratt Institute, the School of Visual Arts, and the University of Pennsylvania are to adopt Net.Pay, a product developed by Sallie Mae’s software division, to let students and parents pay their bills online.

Each school is to use Net.Pay to customize its bills, maintaining consistency with other documents and consolidating charges. The University of Texas at Arlington’s electronic bill presentment will also include a link to online loan applications. Asbury College will use Net.Pay to remind alumni of contribution commitments.
