Visa U.S.A. is marketing its signature debit card in a national television commercial featuring Donald Trump, the real estate magnate and star of the reality show "The Apprentice."
The 30-second ad, which highlights security features like "zero liability" for cardholders, shows Mr. Trump losing his Visa Check Card in a gust of wind atop one of his New York buildings. The ad cuts to his retrieving the card from a Dumpster and brushing dirt off his suit.
The spot by Visa, of San Francisco, is the latest in a series that have featured celebrities including Kevin Bacon, Bob Dole, Yao Ming, Jane Leeves, and Charlie and Martin Sheen.
