Customers can gain access to Goalmatch through a bank's Web site. People enter information about their saving and spending habits and are given peer comparisons, graphics and charts, and bank products that can help them achieve their stated financial objectives. The results are saved so users can revisit and revise their profiles.

Goalmatch is a spinoff of Ignite's Moneymatch product, released when the company was started in 1997. Moneymatch incorporates data mining and prediction tools for marketing.
