WESTFIELD, Mass. - Woronoco Bancorp Inc., the holding company for Woronoco Savings, said it has closed its deal for Keyes & Mattson Insurance Agency Inc.
The banking company merged the agency with its Agan Insurance Agency Inc. subsidiary, it said Dec. 3. The acquired agency now operates under the name Keyes, Mattson & Agan Insurance Agency Inc. as a wholly owned subsidiary of Woronoco Savings Bank.
The $655 million-asset bank and both agencies are based in Westfield. Keyes, Mattson & Agan has more than 7,000 customers and will have annual premiums of $8 million, Woronoco said. About 60% of the agency's business is in personal insurance lines; commercial and other insurance products make up the rest. The agency has a combined staff of 13 employees.
