The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. said Monday that it has updated its survey of detailed deposit information for each of the industry's more than 97,000 domestic branches.
The revised data from the 2007 Summary of Deposits is available at www2.fdic.gov/sod. The survey was updated as of March 1.
On its Web site every fall, the FDIC provides automatic access to industry deposit figures for all institutions as of June 30 of the previous year. Users can download such information as institutions' market share gains in a given geographic area, the deposit growth of different charter classes, and historical comparisons of deposit totals.
The data is updated periodically throughout the year.
This year's Summary of Deposits is expected to be released in October.
