Infosys Technologies Ltd. has rolled out an online banking system that lets banks provide self-serve financial functions with remote support from service representatives.
The Bangalore, India, company said it wants to position Finacle Advizor as a middle ground between fully automated systems and branches.
The system supports co-browsing and live interaction with customer support staff through online video and audio connections.
Haragopal Mangipudi, global head of Infosys' Finacle unit, said in a press release Tuesday that Finacle Advizor provides "high-touch, personalized and interactive services to customers."
