Investors Bank to Use Verint Workforce Management Software

Investors Bank in Short Hills, N.J., will use retail banking workforce management software from Verint Systems (VRNT) for its branch network.

The software should help the $11.5 billion-asset Investors to deliver efficient customer service, enhance staffing visibility at the branches, improve the forecasting and scheduling of personnel and further align staff with anticipated customer demand and peak periods, Verint said Wednesday.

Verint's workforce management, which is web-enabled, accurately forecasts workload and creates schedules to meet service levels, according to the company's website.

Investors, a unit of Investors Bancorp (ISBC), selected the software in April and should start implementing it at its more than 85 branches this month.

Verint, based in Melville, N.Y., provides analytic software and hardware for the security, surveillance and business intelligence markets.
