Heartland Bank of Gowrie, Iowa, has agreed to use check processing software from Integrated Bank Technology Inc.
IBT, of Cedar Park, Texas, said last week that the $93 million-asset community bank is planning to install its Integrated Bank Environment software, which includes check imaging and processing applications.
The technology will give customers immediate access to deposited funds, according to Kevin Black, Heartland's president. "Real time is the future of banking," he said in an IBT press release.
IBT said that more than 125 financial companies in the U.S. and Canada use Integrated Bank Environment.
