Ixaris Systems Ltd. announced three payment applications Friday for its Opn platform.
The applications, called paylets, are software products preconfigured to support certain payment functions, Ixaris said. The Opn platform works with Visa Inc., MasterCard Inc. and Swift.
The Opn Virtual Card paylet allows for issuing a virtual Visa card for online payments. It can be used in multiple currencies.
The Opn Customer Connect paylet allows for instant business payments. Payments can be received on a virtual card, a physical card or in a bank account.
The Opn Fund Forward paylet is a person-to-person payment product. It is intended for moving money among family members or making charitable donations.
Ixaris, a London vendor, said its technology handles "all facets" of the payment process, including fraud and compliance oversight. Its paylets are meant to help developers streamline the creation of payment systems.
"Ixaris wants to make creating and running payment apps fast and easy, enabling businesses to incorporate customized payment processes within their products," Alex Mifsud, Ixaris' chief executive, said in a press release.
