Jacksonville Bancorp in Fla. Names Chairman

Jacksonville Bancorp (JAXB) in Florida has made Donald Glisson its chairman.

Glisson has been a director since 2010, when Jacksonville acquired Atlantic BancGroup, whose board he had led.

He succeeds Gary Winfield, who had been Jacksonville's chairman since July 2012. Winfield will continue to serve on the boards of the company and its bank subsidiary.

Jacksonville Bancorp is the parent of Jacksonville Bank, which has $565 million in assets and eight branches in Florida. It raised $50 million and sold $25 million of troubled assets at yearend.

Stephen Green became CEO in June, following Price Schwenck's retirement.
