What's in a name? An allexpense-paid, six-day trip for four to Walt Disney World for one fortunate bank employee in Pikeville, Ky.
The Pikeville National Corp. plans to change its name and that of its subsidiary, First Federal Savings Bank. The company is looking to its 620 employees for hints.
The winner gets the trip as well as an extra week of paid vacation and $1,000 cash.
"We're looking for a corporate name that is not geographically restrictive as we continue to branch out across county and possibly state lines with an ATM network, de novo branches, and through new acquisitions," said Burlin Coleman, chairman of Pikeville, in a press release.
The subsidiary has the same name as banks in some of the areas it is targeting for expansion, Mr. Coleman wrote in a letter to the bank's stockholders.
