Tech vendor Linedata announced an updated loan origination and risk management platform, Linedata CapitalStream.
The enhancements, Linedata says, streamline a bank's risk management throughout the credit process - giving bank employees a centralized place to look up a variety of different commercial customers.
The new software comes in the wake of Linedata's acquisition of CapitalStream from HCL Technologies. The purchase closed in March.
"Clients are telling us that banks are looking for more than a single-line-of-business niche product for loan and lease origination," says Deb Biswas, an executive vice president of sales for Linedata's lending and leasing division in North America. "Lending teams need comprehensive solutions that span multiple lines of business while supporting risk management at both the business unit and enterprise level."
