Philippine Farmers Bank Inc. has agreed to use core processing software from Misys PLC of London to improve its consumer lending business.
The Manila company will use Misys' technology at branches throughout the Philippines, Misys said Wednesday.
Philippine Farmers Bank, which offers retail banking services to consumers and small businesses, is expanding its lending operations. One reason it chose the Misys application was that the software could be installed on laptops, enabling loan officers to complete loan transactions at customers' locations, Misys said.
