Berkshire Hills Bancorp in Pittsfield, Mass., said Friday that it has completed its $82 million acquisition of Factory Point Bancorp in Manchester Center, Vt.
Berkshire Hills said it now has assets of $2.5 billion and 48 branches and insurance offices in three states.
The acquisition added $339 million of assets and seven branches in Vermont, Berkshire Hills' first in the state. The deal was announced in May.
