MAYFLOWER Co-operative Bank, Middleboro, Mass., promoted Edward M. Pratt to president and chief executive officer from vice president and senior loan officer.
He succeeds William C. MacLeod, who has retired but remains on the board of directors.
Mr. Pratt was also elected a Mayflower director, filling the remainder of the term of Alfred L. Rezendes, who resigned for health reasons.
The Cleveland-based bank is projecting steady growth in net interest income even as credit losses remain manageable. But Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman also said that he thinks a recession is likely.
