MB Financial Bank in Chicago said Tuesday that it plans to open six banking centers in Walt's Food Centers, expanding its footprint in the south and southwest suburbs of Chicago and entering northwest Indiana.
Branches in Frankfort and Tinley Park are expected to be opened by yearend, and Homewood, South Holland, Crete, and Dyer, Ind., offices are expected to open in February after getting regulatory approval.
With the addition of the Walt's sites, the $8 billion-asset unit of MB Financial Inc. would have 73 branches in the Chicago area.
