Merrill Lynch Wins $542 Mln Georgia General Obligation Bonds

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)-- Merrill Lynch said it placed the winning bid Tuesday for $541.7 million state of Georgia general obligation bonds. The firm reoffered $329.4 million of them to yield between 3.89% in 2014 and 4.33% in 2025.

The balance of the bonds, maturing in 2008 through 2013, 2015 and 2026 weresold pre-sale, and prices weren't released.

The bonds are rated triple-A by Moody's Investors Service, Standard & Poor'sCorp. and Fitch Ratings.
