Mortech Inc., a Lincoln, Neb., vendor of loan pricing and decisioning software, has settled a lawsuit brought by Tree.com Inc.'s LendingTree lead-generation business.
Last month LendingTree, of Charlotte, sought an injunction preventing Mortech from collaborating with Google Inc. on a competing service. In the lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, LendingTree claimed Mortech had violated an exclusivity agreement by working with Google.
The settlement was announced last week. Its terms were not disclosed, and neither company would discuss the matter.
Mortech Inc. has no connection to the mortgage research firm Mortech LLC in Guilford, Conn.
