Mr. Reichert also resigned from Pulaski's board of directors, the $1.1 billion-asset company announced Wednesday.

William A. Donius, Pulaski's chairman and chief executive officer, said in a news release that his company has no immediate plans to name a successor.

"Although we will miss Chris, we have a deep and talented retail mortgage team that includes 10 managers guiding our day-to-day operations," Mr. Donius said.

Mr. Reichert, 43, joined Pulaski Bank in 1999 as a senior vice president of lending and sales and was named an executive vice president in early 2001. He had been a director since 2004.
