NCR CFO Resigns; Interim Chief Named

NCR Corp. has named Robert Fishman interim chief financial officer to succeed Anthony Massetti, who has resigned to take another job.

The Duluth, Ga., automated teller machine maker said Wednesday that Massetti would remain with the company until it completes its third-quarter earnings report Oct. 23.

The communications technology company Avaya Inc. of Basking Ridge, N.J., said Massetti is expected to start Oct. 26 as its CFO.

Fishman. NCR's corporate controller, was also its interim CFO from May 2007 through January 2008, when he oversaw the financial aspects of the company's spinoff of its Teradata data warehouse business.

NCR said it is looking for a new CFO and will evaluate internal and external candidates.
