First Financial Bancorp in Hamilton, Ohio, is moving its corporate headquarters to Cincinnati.

The $3.3 billion-asset company said Friday that the move is part of an effort to expedite its growth in metropolitan areas. By having the corporate headquarters in Cincinnati, First Financial expects to attract and retain qualified employees to help expand its business.
The move should be completed by the end of the first quarter, First Financial said.
The headquarters of its First Financial Bank will remain in Hamilton in Butler County, where most of the bank's assets are based.
First Financial Bancorp has 83 branches in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.
