New UBS Advisors Bring $1.2B of Assets

UBS Wealth Management Americas has hired 11 financial advisors who previously had $1.2 billion of assets under management and $9 million in fees and commissions.

In Washington, UBS Private Wealth Management has hired a Morgan Stanley Smith Barney team including David Andreadis, Karen Ben-Shlaush, Richard Haskin, Frederick Schultz, Lloyd Seested and Eric Teichberg. Together, they previously oversaw $659 million of client assets and generated $6 million in annual fees and commissions.

In addition, UBS has also hired Wells Fargo advisors Dennis Dougherty and Bryan White in Denver.

The Denver team previously had $120 million of client assets under management and generated $1.1 million in annual fees and commissions.

The firm has also hired Morgan Stanley Smith Barney advisor Linda Gelson in Stamford, Conn.; John Perillo from Mercer Allied Co., who joined in Troy, Mich.; and Randolph Byrd from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, who joined in Centerville, Ohio.
