Robertson Banking Co. in Demopolis, Ala., has given its president the additional title of chief executive.
Gary Holemon will become CEO of the $263 million-asset bank on Thursday, according to a news release. Holemon will retain the title of president and remain a bank director.
Holemon will succeed Albert Garrett as CEO.

Holemon has worked for Robertson Banking since 1994. He previously worked for SouthTrust Bank in Birmingham and in Tuscaloosa.
The privately held Robertson, established in 1870, has six branches in western Alabama.
