News Release: PRA Group's Embree Named to Top Lawyers' List

Debt buyer PRA Group, based in Norfolk, Va., has announced that Brad Embree was named to the 2015 Virginia Legal Elite, an annual list of top lawyers in Virginia as voted on by peers.

Embree, corporate counsel for PRA Group, was recognized on the Legal Elite Corporate Counsel List. His specialties include corporate law, commercial transactions, government contracts, mergers and acquisitions, business development, intellectual property and software license agreements.

Before joining PRA in 2012, Embree was an attorney with Vandeventer Black LLP. He earned a J. D. degree from Tulane University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia.

Virginia Business partners with the Virginia Bar Association each year to accept nominations for the Legal Elite. Voting is open to any licensed Virginia lawyer, and electronic ballots are emailed each June to nearly 14,000 lawyers throughout the Commonwealth. An online ballot is also available on the magazine's website during the six-week voting period.
