The Columbus, Ga., processor said the banking company is using the TSYS Prime system in-house to manage 2.2 million card accounts now, and later will move its remaining 700,000 accounts that use different card brands, including Visa Inc. DnB NOR previously was using a variety of processing systems from several providers.

TSYS said that consolidating its portfolio on a single system would let DnB NOR better manage its card products, including prepaid and corporate cards.

TSYS had earlier helped the financial company move its American Express Co. accounts to the Prime system. TSYS did not say how many Amex accounts the bank has.
