Oriental Financial Group Inc. in San Juan, Puerto Rico, has joined a handful of banking companies by raising its quarterly dividend.
The $7.4 billion-asset company said Nov. 24 that it would increase its dividend by a penny, to 5 cents a share. The dividend is payable Jan. 14 to shareholders of record at Dec. 31. Comerica Inc. in Dallas and S.Y. Bancorp Inc. in Louisville, Ky., have also boosted dividends recently.
