Overseas Sales Boost Hypercom Results

Hypercom Corp. said Tuesday that it had record revenue in the third quarter, mostly driven by growth abroad.

The Scottsdale, Ariz., vendor said its net revenue for the three months ended Sept. 30 rose 23.7%, to $125.1 million, from the same period last year. Its net income was $4.5 million, up 275% from a year earlier.

"We are capturing significant market share in the Asia-Pacific region and in Europe." Philippe Tartavull, Hypercom's president and chief executive, said in a press release.
