Page named chief exec at Emprise Bank.

Thomas A. Page, former president of the community banking division of Bank IV Kansas, has been named president and chief executive officer of Emprise Bank Wichita, a subsidiary of Emprise Financial Corp., Wichita, Kansas.

As president of the community banking division for Bank IV, Mr. Page was responsible for management of its community banks in Kansas -- 33 branches, $1.4 billion in total assets, $550 million in total loans, and 560 staff.

"Throughout my career I have always been 100% community bank focused," said Mr. Page. "What I hope to bring to this position is an understanding and appreciation of what a community bank is and what it takes to operate it well. At the same time, I have an opportunity to gain management and operational experience in a much larger bank which will be beneficial to Emprise as the bank grows in the future."

In January, the Wichita bank said, it put into place a more innovative, service-oriented management structure grouping commercial and retail banking services into two areas of responsibility.

Mr. Page's team includes Melissa Skaff Cohlmia, retail banking; Linda Erb, human resources; Joye B. Haneberg, operations/security; Susan J. Mostrous, business development; Steve Onken, marketing; L. Thomas Veatch, chief financial officer; and Gregory K. Wilson, commercial lending.
