Panoptic Security Inc. has announced a new tool, MyPCIDashboard, for independent sales organizations and merchant acquirers that use its payment-security service.
MyPCIDashboard, which was announced Tuesday, lets organizations see detailed information within a merchant portfolio about the rate of compliance with the standards maintained by the PCI Security Standards Council. The standards describe how organizations that handle card data must keep it secure.
MyPCIDashboard also lets the Salt Lake City company's clients see precise information about a specific merchant's progress toward achieving compliance with the PCI standards. Other functions, Panoptic said, include the ability to manage outbound communications to merchants and the ability to generate reports about a specific merchant's activity.
