PayPal Inc. is integrating its Express Checkout product with an e-commerce platform from Devix Corp., a Jersey City software provider.

Devix said Tuesday that businesses running its platform will be able to offer PayPal as a payment option.
The San Jose unit of eBay Inc. built Express Checkout to let merchants accept PayPal payments without having to redirect customers to PayPal's Web site.
The addition of PayPal "is a major consideration for any e-tailer looking to increase market share," Ron Wilkins, Devix's chief executive, said in a press release.
