The San Francisco subscription management software vendor Zuora Inc. said Scott Thompson, the president of eBay Inc.'s PayPal Inc., has joined its board.
Zuora announced Mr. Thompson's appointment last week.
"With the rise in on-demand and subscription services, there is also a growing demand for online billing solutions," Mr. Thompson said in a Zuora press release. "Zuora's platform is truly built with the needs of the subscription market in mind."
Mr. Thompson was promoted to president of PayPal in January of this year.
Zuora introduced its flagship payment software, Z-Billing, in May.
