KeyBank of Cleveland has hired Veronica Correa-Janssen as the product management team leader and a senior vice president in its global treasury management group.
She will oversee the group's payments strategy and manage its e-commerce products and services.
Ms. Correa-Janssen came to the KeyCorp unit from U.S. Bank of Minneapolis, where she had been head of treasury management product development.
U.S. Bank has hired Keith Hoyt as the western region sales manager for its Small Business Administration division.He will oversee sales for the division's three California SBA business centers, in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Orange, as well as for offices in Phoenix, Austin, and Denver, where he will be based.
Mr. Hoyt was the western region sales manager for CIT Small Business Lending Corp., a unit of CIT Group Inc. of Livingston, N.J. He has 14 years of SBA lending experience.
MIDDLE ATLANTICPrudential Financial Inc. of Newark, N.J., has promoted Eric L. Levine to head of global security.
Mr. Levine had been in charge of the company's executive and international security programs and its corporate crisis management team for the past eight years.
Before that he had been a special agent with the Department of State's Diplomatic Security Service, responsible for embassies in Tel Aviv and Katmandu.
He has 25 years of public and private-sector security experience.
Fox-Pitt, Kelton Inc., the New York investment banking unit of Swiss Reinsurance Co., has hired M. Grant Tolson as its senior vice president covering insurance companies and depository institutions.Mr. Tolson was the director of the financial institutions group in the investment banking division at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. of New York.
SOUTHEASTBank of America Corp. of Charlotte has hired William Mostyn to succeed Rachel Cummings as its corporate secretary and deputy general counsel on April 5.
Ms. Cummings will retire.
Mr. Mostyn was the secretary and corporate governance officer at Gillette Co. of Boston, for which he had worked 31 years. At B of A he will report to general counsel Timothy Mayopoulos, an executive vice president.
LandAmerica Financial Group Inc. of Richmond, Va., has promoted vice president Lloyd Osgood to senior vice president.
Ms.Osgood runs corporate communications. She joined the title insurer in 2001 as its vice president of marketing.
LandAmerica has also hired Amanda E. Viol as its assistant controller and a vice president.
She was the assistant controller of Chesapeake Corp., a Richmond manufacturer of specialty packaging for which she had worked since 2000. Before that she had been an accountant with Ernst & Young LLP.
