PNC Names Community Affairs Director, Foundation President

PNC Financial Services Group in Pittsburgh has tapped an executive to become its director of community affairs and president of the PNC Foundation.

Sally McCrady most recently served as deputy executive director for PNC Grow Up Great, an early childhood education program funded by the $324 billion-asset company. She joined PNC in 1999, and, in addition to her foundation work, has also worked in the company's compliance department.

McGrady will succeed Eva Tansky Blum, who will retire on March 31. Blum, who has led the foundation since 2002, has worked at PNC for 37 years.

McGrady "has been deeply immersed in the day to day leadership of Grow Up Great, positioning her to sustain and advance Eva's mission of putting PNC's charitable support to good work in the community," William Demchak, PNC's president and chief executive, said in a press release Tuesday.
