Customers of Banco Popular N.A. can now withdraw cash for free at an additional 33,000 ATMs under a deal with Cardtronics Inc.'s Allpoint surcharge-free network.
The San Juan, Puerto Rico, financial company announced the partnership Sept. 16, and said that customers also have access to a mobile phone app that can find nearby automated teller machines that are part of the Allpoint network.
Popular also operates 4,600 ATMs in California, 4,200 in New York and New Jersey, 800 in Illinois and more than 3,000 in Florida.
