BOSTON - FleetBoston Financial Corporation announced today the appointment of Tracey Esherick as Managing Director for the Banking and Investing Products Group within Fleet's Personal Financial Services business.
In this role, Esherick is responsible for designing, pricing and building product relationship strategies for Fleet's consumer banking and investing business lines serving a retail customer base of over 5.5 million consumer households. She reports to Brad Warner, executive vice president and head of Personal Financial Services at Fleet.
Esherick most recently served with Fidelity Investments in Boston as executive vice president responsible for Corporate and Employees Services. In this capacity, she managed employee stock option plans for major companies across the U.S., all IRA rollover accounts, and College 529 Savings Plans. During her 18-year career at Fidelity, Esherick also served in leadership roles with the Retail Brokerage Group, Institutional Retirement Services, Retail Marketing Services, and the Training and Development Department.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Esherick currently serves on the Board of Directors of the New England College of Finance. She was also named one of the top 50 women in technology by Outlook Magazine in March, 2001.
