HOUSTON — Prosperity Bancshares Inc. announced today that it has entered the San Antonio market by opening a Loan Production Office and is actively working toward opening a full service banking center within the next few months.
Eddie Casseb, president of the San Antonio area, will lead the Prosperity team. He was previously with Citizens State Bank as their president and chief lending officer in San Antonio for the past 11 years. Prior to that, he was an examiner with the Texas Department of Banking. He began his banking career with Westside Bank in San Antonio in 1979. He is a native of San Antonio and a graduate of Trinity University.
He will be joined by his brother Frank Casseb, who will serve as executive vice president and lead Prosperity's lending efforts in San Antonio. Frank is also a native of San Antonio and attended Texas State University. He spent the past 12 years as senior vice president with Laredo National Bank where be had assumed operational and lending duties. His last responsibility included senior lender and manager for the San Antonio region, which included Austin, San Antonio, Del Rio and Eagle Pass. Prior to joining the Laredo National Bank, Frank was an officer with Westside Bank in San Antonio, a family owned bank managed by his father George Casseb.
Yvonne Reynosa has also joined the Prosperity team in San Antonio as an assistant vice president with 21 years of banking experience. She previously worked at the Laredo National Bank with Frank Casseb, assisting him in the commercial loan department for the past nine years. Prior to joining the Laredo National Bank, she was employed with Westside Bank in San Antonio. She is also a native of San Antonio and attended San Antonio College.
