Puget Sound Bank in Bellevue, Wash., has lined up its next leader.
The $548 million-asset bank said in a press release Wednesday that Sean Brennan will replace Jim Mitchell as CEO in May 2018. Mitchell, 67, will remain on the bank’s board after retiring.
Brennan, Puget Sound’s president and chief operating officer, helped organize the bank. He previously worked for U.S. Bank and Washington Trust Bank.
“I am excited to lead a team of professionals with a proven record of exceptional care of each other, our clients, shareholders, and societal issues,” Brennan said in the release.
Puget Sound also said Tony Chalfant, its chief credit officer, will become chief operating officer. Phil Mitterling, Puget Sound’s chief financial officer, added the title of chief information officer.
