Regions Financial in Birmingham, Ala., said its longtime head of operations and technology, Cindy Rogers, will retire at the end of the year.
Rogers joined the $125 billion-asset company in 1979 and has held a number of leadership positions over her career, including staff auditor, senior electronic data processing auditor, deposit operations manager and head of bank operations.
Upon her departure, Regions will realign its operations and technology unit under the regional banking group. Matt Speare, head of governance and integration, will become enterprise chief information officer. Chris Brasher, head of payment and loan operations, will become head of enterprise operations.
The regional banking group at Regions Financial currently includes the consumer services group, wealth management group and market leaders.
