S1 Corp. has introduced a mobile banking application for Apple Inc.'s iPhone that its financial company clients can offer to their customers.
The Norcross, Ga., banking technology company also said Monday that the $2.3 billion-asset American State Bank of Lubbock has agreed to use the application.
S1 said that banks can customize the application to carry their own logo and branding.
David McCulley, an American State Bank executive vice president and its chief information officer, said in an S1 press release that the company "is experiencing growing demand for mobile banking in our markets, and anticipate even greater penetration of users with the increasing use of smart phones, particularly the iPhone."
