Scivantage has hired technology executive Andrew Haines to be its new chief information officer.
The software company, which provides online brokerage, tax reporting and wealth management applications to the financial industry, said Wednesday that Andrew Haines has succeeded Anthony Scrimenti, who left the company.
Haines, 47, joins Scivantage from online foreign exchange trading company Gain Capital Group, where he served in a similar role.
"Andrew has worked in the financial industry for the majority of his career and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in both the institutional services and retail technology sectors, which will allow us to continue expanding into new markets," Scivantage chief executive Adnane Charchour, said in a news release.
Haines, who holds a master's in information management from Stevens Institute of Technology, also has held top technology posts at Merrill Lynch, Salomon Smith Barney and Insperity.
