Barclays PLC's U.S. card unit said last week that it has expanded its partnership with Frontier Airlines Holdings Inc. to offer a credit card for small businesses.
The Frontier Airlines MasterCard BusinessCard carries a $49 annual fee. Cardholders receive a mile for every dollar spent on regular purchases, two miles for purchasing tickets on the Denver airline, and 12,500 bonus miles when it is activated.
The card has a credit line of $50,000. Cardholders who spend more than $60,000 with the card in a calendar year would be upgraded to an elite level. The Barclays unit also issues a consumer affinity card for Frontier.
