Son Succeeding Father at Beverly Hills Bank

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - City National Corp. named Russell Goldsmith chairman and chief executive of its principal subsidiary, City National Bank, succeeding his father.

Bram Goldsmith has held the titles since 1975. His son will assume them Oct. 16.

At the same time, Russell Goldsmith will become vice chairman and chief executive of the holding company.

The senior Mr. Goldsmith will continue as chairman of City National Corp. and a director of both companies, and is to remain active in their management.
