The St. Louis brokerage and investment banking firm Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. Inc. said it has hired John F. Lee to lead its western expansion as a senior vice president and managing director.
Mr. Lee, who was A.G. Edwards' Pacific Coast regional director, will work in the firm's private-client group office in Roseville, Calif.
Joining Mr. Lee as new employees in the office are his brother, James C. Lee, as a branch manager and vice president, and two registered client service associates, Beth Brown and Susan Salton.
Stifel Nicolaus has more than 165 offices in 28 states and the District of Columbia and operates three European offices through Stifel Nicolaus Ltd. Its products include stocks, corporate and municipal bonds, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, options, and managed asset accounts.
