SunTrust Banks Inc. expects to post a per-share profit in the third quarter, Chief Financial Officer Mark Chancy said.
"We are expecting positive earnings per share for the quarter," Chancy said Tuesday in New York at a conference sponsored by Barclays Capital. The Atlanta company has had seven straight quarters of losses.
