The International Biometric Industry Association has added four charter members, bringing the total to 15 since the trade group was founded in September.

The new members are Integrated Visions of Sebastian, Fla., which specializes in biometric systems for the health care industry; I/O Software of Riverside, Calif., a software company that has been active in the biometric standardization movement; PenOp of New York and the United Kingdom, which makes signature verification systems; and Sensar of Moorestown, N.J., which sells iris recognition technology.
