Tech bytes: Mellon, Billing Firm In Marketing Alliance

Services have agreed to market and sell each other's cash management services. The alliance, announced Monday, is part of an effort to give customers a single source for remittance processing and billing statement services. The two companies said they can make lockbox services more efficient and improve the statement design process. Mellon, one of the nation's largest players in cash management, brings collections, processing, and invoicing capabilities to the partnership. International Billing, which claims to be the nation's largest first-class mailer, brings mailing and statement production expertise.
